The Sweetbeau Team

Annette Miller
Lead Trainer

I have over five years of experience training a variety of horse breeds, but mustangs have captured my heart with their incredible versatility and spirit. My training approach includes everything from liberty work and jumping to building confidence for trail riding. Every day brings new opportunities to learn and grow alongside these amazing horses, and I’m grateful to share my passion through my work.

Lily Meek

Trainer

I have experience training a variety of horse breeds, with a primary focus on Thoroughbreds, Mustangs, and Quarter Horses. Much of my experience has involved starting previously unhandled horses, as well as retraining off-the-track Thoroughbreds and helping them transition into successful new careers.

I currently attend Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where I also compete on the rodeo team with my off-the-track Thoroughbred. I’m excited to continue expanding my horsemanship through the opportunity to work with Sweetbeau’s incredible Mustangs.

One of the most rewarding parts of this work is watching each Mustang develop trust and confidence throughout the training process. Seeing them grow into willing, versatile riding partners who enjoy their jobs is what makes working with these horses so special to me.
